my hero. he seriously was my hero for a good chunk of my life. when he died i was heartbroken. i miss this guy. 

sobs because I love Steve.

One of the most fearless people I’ve ever seen.

I had a gym coach in middle school who took time a few days after Steve died to say that he was personally declaring war on all stingrays and would like to count on us for our support in the future.

Ugh I was JUST talking about him with my friend’s family, we were all lamenting how much we missed him and how PO’d we were when people started making really bad jokes about how he died. THAT was the part that upset me the most, I think; how many people found it funny that he was killed by a stingray and not by a croc >:|

Its still one of my life goals to go to his zoo.
